Again in 2009 the Persona has repeated the excellent track record but slightly falled to second place in the Small Family Car category as below;

Its good to hear about the low fuel consumption(FC) of Persona, as one of the owner of Persona Elegance (PE),we are very proud about this Proton achievement.

Unfortunately, after 3 month (since April 2010) being used the Persona m line (A) and after the milage now beyond the 11500km, i couldnt get the said fuel consumption. My lowest reading are 8.4litre/100 km. Never pass below that number.

Many of PE user also realized the same things, and if you try to google this problem on the net, you could find the issue being discussed actively in the car and automotive forum.

The rumors also spread widely saying that the high FC is due to new ECU used. Last time Proton  have used ECU 16 bit but now for the PE, they had changed it to 32 bit ECU.

Proton has to come with responsibility about this issue. We are hoping the issue will be settled soon.Please explain why the FC doesnt get as what they have win in Asian Auto-Mudah.my Fuel Efficiency Awards 2009 (6.75 (litre/100km)).
